WSH Chairman in Hall of FameBack to News
Alastair Storey, Chairman and Chief Executive of WSH, our Reading-based parent company, has been named as the first foodservice operator to be inducted into the British Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame. Awarded to the most successful operators in travel, hospitality, leisure and tourism, the Hall of Fame celebrates excellence and outstanding achievement. Only those who have developed businesses that have changed the face of their industry, having a profound influence on their peers, are inducted. Alastair will be honoured alongside industry greats including Michel and Albert Roux, and Robin Hutson, at a ceremony at London’s Dorchester Hotel this April.
Alastair Storey said: “I am absolutely delighted to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and it is an honour to be recognised alongside the likes of Michel and Albert Roux, who are both inspirational within the industry. “The Hall of Fame further highlights the industry, and as hospitality and tourism is a major contributor to the economy, the more we can do to celebrate it, the happier everyone will be.” Since its launch in 1995, the British Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame has acknowledged the work of industry greats including Sir Richard Branson and Sir Keith Mills. The Hall of Fame awards dinner will take place on Monday 25th April at The Dorchester Hotel in London.
