We are proud of the investment we make in training and developing our people for their future success. We believe we lead the market in offering more tailored training than any other Front of House service provider.


Our philosophy is to teach more than just how to deliver great client service, we coach our people, teaching them life skills, service language, leadership, presentation skills, communication techniques, confidence, brand awareness, and much more. We are also committed to succession planning and encourage our people to develop their career with Portico. Our training academy is not limited to our Portico people. Our training team provide a wide range of bespoke or tailored courses for non-Portico clients who are looking to invest in their teams personal or service development. Giving back

We see our commitment to giving back as a moral and social responsibility.


We have a long established charitable focus group called Giving Back. The Giving Back forum focuses on three areas where it can give back to the community through different focus points namely; voluntary work, environmental focus and fundraising. In January 2014, we launched partnership with Guide Dogs for the Blind. Our commitment is to raise £50,000 to sponsor a guide dog, aptly name the “Portico Puppy”, and we will follow its development from birth into a trained and working guide dog.
